MANILA, Philippines – The August 2026 Certified Plant Mechanics Computer-based Licensure Examination (CPMLE) results, including the list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on August 13, 2026, four (4) working days after the exam.
As announced, 109 out of 142 (76.76%) passed the August 2026 CPMLE.
The PRC Board of Mechanical Engineering conducted the CPMLE in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, and Pampanga on August 7, 8, and 9, 2026.
The Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE) was also held in the same date and locations, including Butuan, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Release of Results
Update as of 10:41 AM, August 13, 2026: PRC confirmed that the August 2026 Certified Plant Mechanics (Computer-Based) Licensure Examinations results will be released today.
According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the August 2026 Certified Plant Mechanics Computer-Based Licensure Examination (CPMLE) results will be released on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, three (3) working days after the tests.
Please note that the release of the CPMLE results may vary and could be posted earlier or later than the expected date. For reference, the February 2026 MELE results were also released after three (3) working days. We recommend bookmarking this page and following our social media channels to stay updated with the latest and most accurate announcements.
Registration and Oathtaking
The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: Starting October 15, 2026
Those who will register are required to bring the following:

- valid government-issued ID
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
Verification of Ratings
All examinees of the August 2026 Certified Plant Mechanics Licensure Examination (CPMLE), whether successful or unsuccessful, may verify their individual ratings online within a few working days after the official release of the results.
To check your board exam rating or scores, visit the PRC official website.
Examinees will need to provide the following information to access their ratings: exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.
Examination Coverage
The Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) Licensure Examination covered three major areas across the three-day examination period: elements of power plant machinery on Day 1, shop machinery practice on Day 2, and elements of industrial plant machinery on Day 3.
Previous Examinations
In the February 2026 Certified Plant Mechanics Licensure Examination (CPMLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results within three (3) working days after the examination. Of the 120 examinees, 100 passed, posting an 83.33% passing rate.
For the August 2025 CPMLE, the results were released within four (4) working days. A total of 84 out of 159 examinees passed, resulting in a 52.83% passing rate.
Meanwhile, the February 2025 CPMLE results were released within three (3) working days. Of the 84 examinees, 30 passed the examination, equivalent to a 35.71% passing rate.
