MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognizes the top performing school in the September 2019 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam. The full list of performance of schools is also available on this page as released on September 19 (Thursday) or in four (4) working days after the exam.
PRC administered the second Physician board exam this year on September 7, 8, 14 and 15 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao.
PHYSICIAN BOARD EXAM RESULTS
Here's the performance of schools in the September 2019 Physician Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the September 2018 PLE, Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) led the schools with 99.33% passing rate or 149 out of 150 passed. University of Santo Tomas (UST) followed with 98.71% or 459 out of 465 passed.
In the September 2017 exams, CIM and Saint Luke's College of Medicine (SLCM) were the highest performing schools obtaining 100% passing rate, 122 and 83 takers passed, respectively. West Visayas State University (WVSU) - La Paz ranked second with 99.01% or 100 out of 101 passed.
In the September 2016 exams, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and SLCM dominated the schools with 100% passing rate, 115 and 75 examinees passed, respectively. University of the Philippines (UP) -Manila camed in second spot with 98.67% or 148 out of 150 passed the exams.
