RESULTS ARE OUT! – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) released results of the September and November 2025 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or Teachers Board Exam on December 18, 2025, sixty-three (63) working days.
The September and November 2025 LET results include the complete list of passers, the top 10 (topnotchers), the top-performing schools, and the overall performance of schools.
PRC announced that 79,696 out of 122,528 examinees (65.04%) successfully passed the September and November 2025 LET. This sets a new benchmark as the highest national passing rate ever recorded in modern times.
A total of 21,967 elementary teachers out of 43,035 examinees (51.04%) and 57,729 secondary teachers out of 79,493 examinees (72.62%) successfully passed the exams.
It is further announced that of the 21,967 elementary teacher passers, 19,924 are first timers and 2,043 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 52,207 passers are first timers and 5,522 are repeaters.
PRC administered the second regular LET this year on Sunday, September 21, 2025 in at least 35 testing centers nationwide and in Hong Kong and Thailand. Testing centers included Manila, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Tacloban, and Zamboanga, with additional test centers designated in Antique, Bacolod, Bohol, Catanduanes, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Kidapawan, Laguna, Lipa, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Oroquieta, Romblon, Tagum, and Valencia to accommodate more examinees and reduce distant travel.
Due to inclement weather, PRC rescheduled the September 2025 LET in Regions I, II, and the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) to November 30. The affected test centers included Rosales, Tuguegarao, Batanes, Bayambang, Cauayan, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Nueva Vizcaya.
The Board for Professional Teachers consists of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro as Chairman, Dr. Paz I. Lucido as Vice Chairman, and Dr. Paraluman R. Giron, Member.
As mandated by law, passing the licensure examination and obtaining a valid professional license from the Commission are required to practice the teaching profession in the Philippines. Violators may face fines and imprisonment under the penal provisions.

To pass the LET, an examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.
Release of LET Results
Update as of December 18, 2025: In a Facebook post, Carl Balita—a reliable source for the actual release of LET results—hinted at a December 18 release. "This is the DAY that the LORD has MADE! LET us REJOICE!!!," Balita shared.
Update as of December 17, 2025: The PRC Licensure Division told The Summit Express that there is still no announcement or update regarding the release of the LET results. An official announcement on the exact release date may be issued on Friday.
According to PRC Resolution No. 2103 s. 2025, the results of the November 2025 LET for the rescheduled exams in Regions 1, 2, and CAR will be released on December 19, 2025 (Friday).
PRC stated: "RESOLVED FINALLY, that the target release date of examination results for the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers shall be on December 19, 2025."
In an inquiry by The Summit Express, the PRC confirmed that the September and November 2025 LET results will be released on the same date and advised to just wait for the exact release date.
Previously, PRC set December 5, 2025 (Friday) release of September 2025 LET results according to PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024.
Note: Please note that the results may be released earlier or later than the projected date without prior notice. Several factors may affect the timeline, including the total number of examinees, work suspensions due to calamities or unforeseen events, and the manual checking of pencil-based tests.
Registration Details
The schedule for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration for both Elementary and Secondary level passers will be posted here once the results are released online.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Oath-taking of Passers
The PRC announces oathtaking schedules a few days after results are released. For face-to-face ceremonies, register at https://online.prc.gov.ph/ by 12:00 NN the day before and present a printed Oath Form with QR code. Those unable to attend may join the online oathtaking (“e-OATH”) or request a special schedule. After the ceremony, proceed with Initial Registration through the same portal.
Coverage of Examinations
The September and November 2025 LET had two parts for Elementary (General Education – 40%, Professional Education – 60%) and three parts for Elementary with Specialization and Secondary (General Education – 20%, Professional Education – 40%, Specialization – 40%).
General Education covers English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences. Professional Education includes topics such as the teaching profession, principles of teaching, educational technology, curriculum development, child and adolescent development, student assessment, developmental reading, field study, and practice teaching.
Specializations include Early Childhood Education and Special Needs Education for Elementary, and for Secondary: Culture and Arts, English, Filipino, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, Technology and Livelihood Education (TLEd) – Agriculture and Fishery Arts, Industrial Arts, Home Economics, ICT, and Values Education.
These new specializations, introduced through the amendment of the Teacher Professionalization Act of 1994, mark the first major overhaul of the LET in three decades, aligning the exams with modern teacher training programs and the evolving needs of the profession.
Previous Examinations
The March 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) results were released after forty-one (41) working days, with 16,282 elementary passers out of 34,810 examinees (46.77%) and 38,747 secondary passers out of 62,225 examinees (62.27%).
For the September 2024 LET, results came out in fifty-one (51) working days. A total of 20,025 elementary teachers (45.51%) passed out of 44,002 examinees, while 48,875 secondary teachers (56.88%) passed out of 85,926 examinees.
The March 2024 LET results were released in forty-seven (47) working days. Of 44,764 examinees for the elementary level, 20,890 (46.67%) passed, while 50,539 out of 85,980 secondary examinees (58.78%) were successful.
